Whether you're painting a glossy surface, dealing with bleed-through, or simply giving your furniture a good clean, the Fusion prep range makes the process quick, simple and effective.

Fusion TSP Alternative

This is the cleaner I recommend for absolutely every project. It’s eco-friendly, biodegradable and non-rinse, so it removes grease and dirt without leaving any residue behind. A must-have starting point for all Fusion Mineral Paint projects.

Ultra Grip – Adhesion Primer

Perfect for tricky surfaces like melamine, laminate, high-gloss finishes and glass. When sanding isn’t possible or you just want extra peace of mind, Ultra Grip creates a strong foundation for Fusion Mineral Paint to adhere to.

Zinsser BIN Shellac Primer (recommended for tannin bleed)

Although not a Fusion product, this is the stain-blocking primer I personally recommend for knots, mahogany, cherry and other woods prone to bleed-through. If you're using lighter colours in Fusion or Alchemy, this keeps the finish clean and crisp.

Odourless Solvent – Wax Removal

Wax is the number one reason paint fails. If your piece has ever been waxed, this solvent makes removing it quick and easy. It dissolves wax so you can clean, prep and paint without adhesion issues.

Sanding Pads & Applicators

Fusion works beautifully with minimal sanding, but sometimes a quick scuff sand is all you need to help create a perfect surface. These flexible sanding pads are ideal for light surface prep and smoothing between coats.
