Furniture Painting Classes and Creative Workshops

I love teaching and sharing the skills I use every day in my studio, and these workshops are designed to give you the confidence to transform your own furniture beautifully. Whether you are completely new to painting or looking to learn more advanced creative techniques, my classes are friendly, hands-on and packed with practical tips.

I keep my workshop groups small so that everyone gets personal guidance and plenty of time to learn. All tools, paints and materials are provided, and you can enjoy a relaxed, welcoming environment in my Hoddesdon studio. Many of my students go on to paint their whole homes or even start their own furniture painting businesses.

What Classes We Run

Beginner Furniture Painting Workshops
Perfect for absolute beginners. I teach you how to prep properly, how to achieve a smooth professional finish, and how to get long-lasting results using Fusion Mineral Paint. You’ll leave confident and ready to tackle your own projects at home.

Bring Your Own Piece Workshops
A hands-on class where you bring a small piece of furniture and I guide you through transforming it from start to finish. Ideal if you want both learning and a completed project to take home.

Chair Painting and Upholstery Workshops
Learn how to prep, paint and reupholster a chair using Fusion Mineral Paint and beautiful fabrics. I provide the chair and materials so you can focus on learning the process.

Advanced Techniques
These classes explore creative finishes such as glazing, raised stencilling, metallics, pouring mediums, moulds, crackle effects and decorative techniques. Perfect for painters who want to expand their skills and offer more artistic finishes.
