This beautifully reimagined Art Deco bureau has been carefully restored in the Colour Me KT workshop to celebrate the craftsmanship and detail of its original marquetry design.
The wood has been treated with layers of Fusion™ Stain & Finishing Oil in a mix of rich, tonal shades to bring out the depth and pattern of the grain. The striking diamond motif across the front gives a strong Art Deco feel, while the contrast of black framing and handles adds a smart, modern edge.
As well as being eye-catching, this bureau is genuinely useful. The drop-down top creates the perfect workspace for your laptop or writing, and the drawers below offer generous storage for paperwork, stationery and other essentials — a brilliant way to combine style and practicality.
Each surface has been cleaned, sanded, oiled and sealed to protect and enhance the natural wood finish, leaving a smooth, durable sheen that’s easy to care for.
