Choosing a Fusion Colour

Fusion colours are highly pigmented and stay true once dry. If you are deciding between a few shades, I always recommend using the Fusion fan deck or true colour card. These give you an accurate view of undertones and help you match colours to your home beautifully.

Do I Need a Topcoat with Fusion

Fusion does not usually require a topcoat because the built-in topcoat cures to a strong matte finish. For high-traffic pieces like dining tables, kitchen cupboards or furniture used daily, you can add an extra layer of protection with Tough Coat or Ultra Guard Poly. I am always happy to help you choose the right finish if needed.

Prep Advice

Most pieces only need a quick clean with Fusion TSP Alternative and a light scuff sand before painting. If your piece is glossy or heavily stained, you may want to use a primer first.
